Originally from Newport Rhode Island, Chauncey Tanton has spent the last 15 years Snowboarding in the mountains of Colorado. A professional snowboarder for Burton and Oakley, he turned to the University of Colorado and received a bachelor's in Business Finance. Most recently he spent the last three years working as a financial advisor for UBS until the monotony of corporate life and the lure of a more adventurous life proved irresistible. Chauncey brings with him a wealth of experience in marketing, media, sponsorship, and engineering. He will be joining the expedition in Barrow, Alaska and looks forward to snowboarding in port towns, camera assisting Sprague, and filming promotional pieces for sponsors.
